Terms of Use

The terms that go with the app

These are the terms you accept by downloading and using RollupBandit. They're written in plain language. The substantive position - your roll-up's data is yours - lines up with the privacy page.

Who provides RollupBandit

RollupBandit is published by Katana Software Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. When this page says "we", "us" or "RollupBandit", it means Katana Software Limited.

Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install and use RollupBandit on devices you own or control. You may use the app for as long as it's available and you continue to meet these terms.

The licence is for use, not ownership. You don't acquire any rights in the app or its branding beyond what's needed to use it.

What you agree not to do

RollupBandit Premium subscriptions

RollupBandit Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Subscribing unlocks the premium feature set - currently Tournaments, Seasons & Honours and Advanced Statistics. The core roll-up flow remains free, with no time limit.

Subscription length, price, currency and renewal date are shown on the in-app purchase sheet and on your store account before you confirm the purchase. Payment is taken by Apple via the App Store on iPhone, or by Google via Google Play on Android. We never see or hold card details.

Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically at the same price. Renewals are charged through your Apple Account or Google Play account.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time, with effect from the end of the current billing period:

Refunds are handled by Apple and by Google directly, under their own refund policies. We can help you find the right form and quote your Support ID, but we can't issue refunds ourselves - the payment never reached us.

The app, content and updates

We update the app from time to time to fix issues, add features and respond to feedback. Updates can change how features work, including premium features. We try to communicate substantive changes clearly. We don't promise any specific feature will exist in any future version.

The app is provided "as is". It's built for golf roll-ups, swindles and society events. We make every effort to keep it correct - prizes, payouts, handicap movements - but you remain responsible for the roll-up you're running and for what you share with the group.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law - for example, liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your data

How RollupBandit handles roll-up and round data is set out in the privacy page. In short: roll-up data lives on the organiser's device, we don't run advertising or analytics SDKs, and the only third-party processor in the loop is RevenueCat, which handles subscription receipts.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The current version always lives at rollupbandit.com/terms.html. Substantive changes will be highlighted in the next app update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that can't be resolved by writing to us first will be heard exclusively by the courts of England and Wales, unless your country's consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

Contact

For questions about these terms or your subscription, email support@rollupbandit.com. The Support ID inside the app's Settings › Support is the quickest way for us to find your account if you need help with a subscription.
